Help police find this wanted suspect


JOBURG – Johannesburg Central Police ask for help from community members in tracking one suspect wanted for a car hijacking.

Johannesburg Central Police are requesting the assistance of community members to help them with information that will lead to the arrest of a suspect wanted for a car hijacking.

According to Captain Xoli Mbele, spokesperson for the station, on 11 March, at about midday, a 47-year-old female was driving a silver Mercedes Benz with the registration number FR 46 CK GP along Locomotive Road south of Johannesburg.

“She was stopped by two males driving a black Golf.”

He added that they pointed firearms at her and forced her out of the car before they drove off in it.

The police spokesperson said the victim described one of the suspects as dark in complexion who is slim and has brown eyes.

The victim said the suspect spoke English and could be in his 30s.

Police are appealing to anyone with information on the whereabouts of the suspect to contact Johannesburg Central Police Station’s Sergeant Willem van Rooyen.
