Police are hard on the heels of three men terrorizing Cosmo City residents
Honeydew police are attempting to link a notorious gang that has been terrorising Cosmo City, to other related cases, following their latest hit in the area.
The three-man gang struck again last week Friday (5 May), where they robbed residents at gunpoint in Ext 3.
According to Honeydew police spokesperson, Captain Balan Muthan, the victims were ambushed by the three men after returning from work in the early hours of the morning.
“Three guys came home from work. After they entered their house, they heard a noise outside which sounded like someone kicking the door. After that, they saw three men enter their house, one with a pistol,” said Muthan. He added, “They shot once on the wall and took their wallets, cellphones and a television.”

Muthan also mentioned that no injuries were reported from the scene.
The incident comes a week later after a backroom dweller, Peggy Sdudla from Ext 6 was murdered during a house robbery by three men on 21 April.
Muthan further said that police are trying to link the cases involving these suspects with other police stations while trying to figure out their modus operandi.
