KwaZulu-Natal female boxer Kholose Ndobayini throws a punch at Raider Muleba during the main fight
Promising Cosmo City boxer Raider Muleba narrowly lost an elite title shot during a boxing tournament held in Krugersdorp.
Muleba, who trains under Team Dida Boxing Promotions, a training club based in Ruimsig Athletics Stadium, lost against Kholosa Ndobayini from KwaZulu-Natal in a 10-round enthralling clash for a vacant South African Woman’s Lightweight Championship title on 22 April.

Fight promoter and trainer, Dida Dipheko, said Muleba fought Ndobayini for the second time, but unfortunately lost again on the judges’ decision.
“Muleba and Ndobayini fought for the second time. The first time they fought in KwaZulu-Natal and Muleba lost that fight,” explained Dipheko, praising Muleba for showing hunger and determination to clinch the title.

Although the main fight was between the two female boxers, Dipheko listed some of the mind-blowing fights which took place at the event.
“Apart from the two ladies, there were five other fights and three of my fighters won by technical knockout,” Dipheko added.
He also mentioned that one of his top boxers, Mpho Seforo, was scheduled to fight Honeydew Fight Club boxer Thabang Ramagole in the beginning of April but the match ended in a draw against, Tisetso Modisadife.
“That was one hell of a match, blood was everywhere, but the fight ended in a draw. Team Dida Boxing Promotion will be hosting another exciting boxing tournament in August” concluded Dipheko.
