The mall hosted the second annual bridge festival to celebrate the Cosmo Mall bridge which was built by the mall’s owners, The Bentel Group to allow safe passage for shoppers over the Malibongwe highway.

This year, Cosmo Mall partnered with Boston City Campus and Business College, and Boston Media House in an effort to further education in the Cosmo City community.

R100 000 in bursaries were given away as well as 50 financial independence short courses.

The mall’s manager, Frank Sibetola said it was their way of giving back to the community.

“We are also giving the local artists exposure and trying to bring more sales for our tenants,” added Sibetola. “We really appreciate the support of our customers, they chose us while there were many shopping centres which they could have gone to.”
